ISO 3451-5 Plastics - Determination of Ash - Part 5: Standard Test for Poly(vinyl chloride)

In cases where sulfuric acid tends to overflow the rim of the crucible or, despite precautions, a portion of the test portion tends to disappear from the crucible due to vigorous reaction, concentrated sulfuric acid can be replaced with a concentrated acetic acid mixture. acid and concentrated sulfuric acid.
