The ISO 20349-2 standard, published by the International Standards Organization (ISO), describes the features and test methods of shoes used to protect against risks in welding activities. This standard has also been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) under the following heading: TS EN ISO 20349-2 Personal protective equipment - Protective shoes against risks in foundries and welding - Part 2: Protection requirements and test methods against risks in welding and allied processes.
This standard includes other protections defined in ISO 20345 Personal protective equipment - Safety footwear standard. For the purposes of the ISO 20349-2 standard, terms and definitions given in the ISO 20345 standard apply.
