EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance service within the scope of AS NZS 1891.1 standard. This standard specifies requirements for the materials, design, manufacture and testing of harnesses, lanyards, pole straps and related equipment, including attachment devices and personal energy absorbers for industrial restraint and fall arrest purposes.
Personal protective equipment designed only for the following purposes is not covered by this Standard:
Users of the equipment in the first two items are advised to ensure that it has sufficient power for use. Equipment conforming to this Standard may be suitable for these purposes. Users are advised to check before such use.
Fall arrest equipment and components meeting this Standard shall have been dynamically tested using a 100 kg mass. Larger users are advised to consult the manufacturer.
