EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of ISO 25980 standard. ISO 25980 specifies safety requirements for transparent welding curtains, strips and screens to be used to protect workplace environments where arc welding processes are used.
It is designed to protect persons not involved in the welding process from dangerous radiant emissions from welding arcs and spatters.
The welding screens, strips, and screens it states are not intended to replace welding filters. Other means of protection are used for the deliberate display of welding arcs.
Not applicable for welding processes using laser radiation. For comfort reasons, darker welding curtains or curtains are recommended for mutual separation of adjacent workplaces.
