EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 1073-1 standard. This European standard specifies the requirements and test methods for protective clothing that protects the wearer's body and respiratory system against solid particles in the air, including radioactive contamination, ventilated with an air supply independent of an uncontaminated source.

EN 1073-1 Radyoaktif Kontaminasyon, Havada Uçuşan Katı Partiküllere Karşı Koruyucu Giysi - Bölüm 1: Vücudu ve Solunum Yollarını Koruyan Koruyucu Giysiler

Such protective clothing may be provided with an emergency breathing facility. This European standard does not apply to protection against ionizing radiation and to the protection of patients against contamination with radioactive substances by diagnostic or therapeutic measures.

Protective clothing against airborne solid particles, including radioactive contamination, includes protective clothing intended to protect the skin and, if necessary, the respiratory tract against radioactive contamination and airborne solid particles.

Compressed air line ventilated protective clothing must comply with the relevant general requirements specified in EN ISO 13688.

The design of the protective clothing should be such that the protective clothing is easy to put on and take off and minimizes the risk of contamination.
