Fire hoods can be used both above and below the face mask and in different end uses with hats of different shapes. It is the user's responsibility to select the correct headgear suitable for the garment, wearer, and face mask recommended by the headgear manufacturer.
The firecap will be tight and can be worn without discomfort or significant restriction of head movement. The fire cap will fit around or under the claimed compatibility respirator face mask and will not interfere with the breathing function of the mask without reducing the field of view and will not cause any discomfort to the wearer.
