This is accomplished by subjecting them to a test plan consisting of a set of expected hazards encountered in various distribution cycles. This standard is not intended to replace material specifications or existing pre-shipment testing procedures.
Consider using the standard D7386 for testing packages for single parcel shipments. The suitability of this standard for use with hazardous substances has not been determined.
