Because the size of the porosity, pore shapes, sizes, and pore distribution parameters influence the behavior of thermal diffusion, extreme care must be taken when analyzing the data. Special care is recommended when other properties such as thermal conductivity are derived from the thermal dissipation obtained by this method.
