Minimum pipe diameter for epoxy primer application, the minimum pipe diameter that can be inspected and repaired by entering through the pipe should be 24 inches (600 mm). Internally electrically controllable pipe diameters of less than 24 inches (600 mm) may be included provided that the work complies with the relevant provisions of this standard.
The purpose of this standard is to provide minimum requirements for fusion bonded epoxy coatings and linings for steel water pipelines and fittings, including materials, application and testing.
