DIN 14811 Standard Test for Fire Extinguishing Hoses, Non-Leaking Straight Distribution Hoses and Hose Assemblies for Pumps and Vehicles

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of DIN 14811 standard. Hoses in this standard are used to carry fire extinguishing agents. Such hoses can be rolled up or folded flat when empty.

This third change to DIN 14811 was necessary to bring the specifications for pressure loss in C 42 hoses and B 70 hoses in line with the current application.

It has been shown that the previously stated values ​​are too low and not technically possible. Therefore, this change specifies values ​​that are more common in practice. Therefore, this change does not bring any disadvantage to firefighters.

This amendment, the working committee will also publish an amendment A4 covering the new regulations governing conformity assessment; Since the scope of the amendment A4 is quite large, it will take some time before it is ready for publication.
