EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of DIN 4102-3 standard. This part of the DIN 4102 standard covers fire protection definitions, requirements and tests of fire walls and non-load-bearing exterior walls, including guardrails and aprons.
Bearing or non-bearing exterior walls, beams and beams are discussed in DIN 4102 part 2. Proof of fire resistance category of fire walls and main load-bearing external walls will be provided by a test certificate based on tests according to this standard. The least positive result of tests on at least two test specimens is decisive for the evaluation.
Firewalls and non-load-bearing exterior walls listed in DIN 4102 Part 4 shall be assigned to the fire resistance categories specified here. Firewalls are walls that separate or delimit fire compartments. It is intended to prevent the spread of fire to other buildings or parts of buildings.
Firewalls must meet requirements unless required for a longer fire resistance period according to specific building code regulations. Fire walls must consist of building materials of category A according to DIN 4102 Part 1. Firewalls must meet the requirements.
In the case of central and eccentric loading, fire walls must at least meet the requirements of fire resistance category F 4102 according to DIN 2 Part 90. Firewalls, when tested according to section 433 under the impact stress defined here, must fulfill the load-bearing and separation function within the meaning of DIN 4102 Part 2. Firewalls with a longer fire resistance period are those that meet the fire resistance requirements of more than 180K.
