EN 12002 Determination of Transverse Deformation for Tile Adhesives, Cement-Based Adhesives and Mortars

This European standard applies to all cementitious ceramic tile adhesives and joints for interior and exterior tile installations on floors and walls.

Not applicable for non-cement adhesives and joints, eg dispersion and reactive resin adhesives and mortars.

This European standard does not contain performance requirements or recommendations for the design and installation of ceramic tiles.

Ceramic tile adhesives can also be used for other types of tiles (natural and agglomerated stones, etc.) that do not adversely affect these materials.
