The detailed classification of the Q family is created by defining the product categories required for the main applications of this family.
Each category is indicated by a symbol made up of two letters that together form a code. The definition of each category can be supplemented by adding viscosity grades according to IS0 3448.
In the current classification system, products are defined in a uniform way. For example, a particular product can be specified in full. In both cases the number indicates the viscosity grade according to IS0 3448.
