EN 12210 Windows and Doors - Wind Load Resistance - Classification

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 12210 standard. The EN 12210 standard defines the classification of test results for fully assembled windows and doors of any material after testing according to EN 12211.

EN 12210 Windows and Doors - Wind Load Resistance - Classification

EN 12211 describes a test method for determining the limits (P1, P2 and P3) for the test specimen. These limits are expressed in Pascal (Pa). Relationships between limits:

P2 = 0,5 P1
P3 = 1,5 P1

Classification will be made according to the results of the wind resistance tests against positive and negative test pressures. This classification can be used with other relevant standards or codes of practice and therefore can be used to correlate with actual exposure requirements.
