EN 12225 Geotextiles and Geotextile Related Products, Method of Determining Microbiological Resistance by Soil Burying Test

Therefore, many of these products can now be expected to be commercially available.

It will pass the soil burial test successfully, and it is probably not necessary for all of them to undergo this test regardless of their function. However, soil burial testing should be performed if the requirements for proper functioning of geotextiles and geotextile-related products require evidence of microbiological resistance or if they are made from newly developed polymers and resistance is questionable.
