EN 13349 Test Standard for Solid Coated Pre-Insulated Copper Pipes

This European Standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods and delivery conditions for seamless round copper tubing lined with solid plastic material. It can be applied to pipes for hot water and cold water distribution networks, hot water heating systems including underfloor heating systems (temperature not exceeding 95 °C), domestic gas and liquid fuel distribution purposes. The primary purpose of the coating is to protect the copper pipe from external corrosion during use. In addition, the coating can provide some protection against impacts and mechanical loads during transportation, installation and operation. Coatings whose main purpose is thermal insulation are not included in this standard.

There are various standards used internationally to test the effectiveness of ballistic protection. Within the scope of these standards, ballistic performance tests of ballistic protective equipment and clothing are carried out and their effectiveness is determined. In this study, it has been tried to give information about textile materials for ballistic protection and the test methods used to determine their ballistic performance.

EUROLAB Laboratory, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, helps you get precise and fast results for the requirements and analysis of copper pipes within the scope of the EN 13349 Test Standard for Solid Coated Pre-Insulated Copper Pipes.
