This part of the EN 14073 standard specifies test methods for determining the stability and strength of the structure of free-standing or display and wall-hung office storage furniture and free-standing units.
This document applies to mobile furniture. The tests are intended to simulate excessive balancing forces and structural loads that may occur during normal functional use, as well as misuse that could reasonably be expected to occur.
The security attached to the structure of the building is not included, for example, the strength of wall-hung cabinets includes only the cabinet and its parts. Wall and wall attachment not included.
