In conjunction with sections 1555 to 2 of EN 5, this standard is applicable to PE pipes, fittings and valves, their connections and their connections to components of other materials intended for use in the following conditions:

  • Maximum working pressure, MOP up to and including 20 bar at a reference temperature of 10°C for design purposes;
  • An operating temperature between -20°C and 40°C.

EN 1555 (all parts) covers a set of maximum operating pressures and gives requirements regarding colours.
