Material Testing

EN 206 Concrete Tests

The EN 206 test method covers concretes used in cast-in-situ and pre-built (prefabricated) structures and pre-constructed structural members of buildings and civil engineering structures. These tests are; It is for all kinds of normal, light or heavy or self-compacting concrete manufactured at the facility for ready-mixed concrete or pre-constructed concrete elements.

EN 206 Concrete Tests

The tests performed on concrete are as follows;

  • Environmental Impact Tests
  • Test the compressive strength of hardened concrete
  • Sieve Analysis Test
  • Concrete materials mixing and slump test
  • Concrete Durability Test

Our Concrete Testing Lab has developed an integrated testing platform to perform simulations of a range of engineering test measurements, including isothermal calorimetry, adiabatic temperature change, chemical shrinkage, elastic modulus and compressive strength.

EN 206 Environmental Impact Tests

  • XO – No danger of corrosion or harmful effects.
  • XC – Corrosion from carbonation.
  • XS – Corrosion caused by seawater chlorides.
  • XD – Corrosion caused by chlorides other than seawater.
  • XA – Exposure of concrete to chemical effects.
  • XM – Mechanical wear effect.
  • XF – Freeze-Thaw effect.
  • XW – Rebar corrosion under alkaline silica reaction
