EN 442-2 Radiators and Convectors - Part 2: Test Methods and Rating

This European standard covers laboratory regulations and test methods to be adopted, acceptable tolerances, criteria for selecting samples to be tested and verifying the conformity of existing production with samples tested in the first test.

This European standard also defines additional common data that the manufacturer must provide with the product to ensure the correct application of the products.

This European standard does not apply to fan assisted radiators, fan assisted convectors and trench convectors as well as stand-alone heating appliances.

In addition, a standard low temperature thermal output is provided for low temperature systems. The standard thermal outputs (standard nominal thermal output and standard low temperature thermal output) are defined values ​​taken from the characteristic equation.
