EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 581 standard. This European standard specifies general safety requirements for outdoor seating and tables for adults for camping, domestic and contract use.
It does not apply to removable upholstery, coverings, seats for spectator facilities, seats for children and tables. Mechanical safety requirements are covered by EN 581-2 for seats and EN 581-3 for tables.

This standard covers the general safety requirements of tables and seating elements used in camps, homes and outdoor areas. This standard does not apply to removable interior trim, trim, seating for audience facilities, chairs and tables for children.
EN 581-2 Outdoor Furniture - Seats and Tables Used in Camps, Homes and Public Places - Part 2: Mechanical Safety Requirements and Test Methods for Seating Elements
This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the safety, strength and durability of all types of outdoor seating used by adults in camps, homes and public places, regardless of their manufacturing process, design/construction or materials of construction.
EN 581-3 Outdoor Furniture - Seats and Tables Used in Camps, Homes and Public Places Part 3: Mechanical Safety Requirements for Tables
This standard specifies the minimum strength, durability and safety requirements for all types of outdoor tables for adults, regardless of their manufacturing process, design/construction or materials of construction. This standard does not apply to street furniture.
