EN 60068-2-32 Basic Environmental Test Procedures Part 2: Tests; Test ED: Free Fall

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 60068-2-32 standard. This test is divided into two procedures.

EN 60068-2-32 Basic Environmental Test Procedures Part 2: Tests; Test ED: Free Fall

The first procedure simulates the drops that a normally unpackaged sample may suffer during transport and is normally limited to two drops from a prescribed location on a specified surface from a specified height.

The second procedure simulates repetitive drops that can occur in devices such as connectors or small remote control units that are normally attached to cables during use.

Repeated failures on a certain surface from a certain height are achieved using a suitable apparatus, for example, a rolling (rotating) barrel.
