This European Standard specifies limit values for the mechanical properties of extruded wire rods/rods, pipes and profiles made of aluminum and aluminum alloys after tensile testing. Technical inspection and delivery conditions, including product and test conditions, are given in EN 755-1. Brief designations for heat treatment are given in EN 515. The chemical composition limits of these materials are given in EN 573-3.
