ISO 11093-1 Paper and Cardboard - Testing Cores

A random selection of cores is taken from randomly picked packed units from the Pot. These are then subdivided and mixed to form a Sample from which test pieces will be taken from the samples.

Specimens and test pieces should be provided with sufficient markings to allow unambiguous identification of each sample and test piece. These identification marks shall be indelible. They may be limited to the number of sampling report and signature of the Sampler.

If re-sampling is required as a result of an accident during sampling or testing, a new Sample shall be taken in accordance with the above-mentioned specifications. Unless otherwise stated, samples may be taken from the same packaged units as before.
