EN ISO 19069-2 Plastics - Polypropylene (PP) Molding and Extrusion Materials - Part 2: Preparation of Test Samples and Determination of Properties

EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN ISO 19069-2 standard. This part of the International Standard EN ISO 19069 specifies methods of preparation of test specimens and test methods to be used in determining the properties of polypropylene (PP) molding and extrusion materials.

Requirements are given for processing the test material and conditioning both the test material prior to molding and the specimens prior to testing.

Procedures and conditions for the preparation of test samples and procedures for measuring the properties of the materials from which these samples are made are also given. The properties and test methods suitable and required for characterizing PP molding and extrusion materials are listed.

Features are selected from general test methods in ISO 10350‑1. Other test methods commonly used or of particular importance for these molding and extrusion materials, as well as the defining characteristics specified in EN ISO 19069-1, are also included in this part of EN ISO 19069.

To obtain reproducible and comparable test results, the preparation and conditioning methods, sample sizes, and test procedures outlined herein must be used. The determined values ​​will not necessarily be the same as those obtained using samples of different sizes or prepared using different procedures.
