BS 476-15 Fire Tests on Building Materials for Measuring Heat Dissipation Rate

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, provides precise and fast testing services within the scope of BS 476-15 testing. This test method is used to determine the flammability, heat release rates, mass loss rates, effective heat of combustion, and visible smoke development of materials and products.

BS 476-15 Fire Tests on Building Materials for Measuring Heat Dissipation Rate

This International Standard specifies a method for evaluating the heat release rate of essentially flat product exposed to controlled levels of radiant heating, with or without an external igniter. The heat release rate is determined by measuring the oxygen concentration in the combustion product stream and the oxygen consumption derived from the flow rate. Ignition time is also measured in this test. Products with surface irregularities can be tested according to specific requirements.

EUROLAB assists manufacturers with BS 476-15 test compliance. Our test experts, with their professional working mission and principles, provide you, our manufacturers and suppliers, the best service and controlled testing process in our laboratories.
