Record the conditioning method before laying the wall units. Measure the moisture content by mass of autoclaved aerated concrete and calcium silicate units according to EN 772-10. Record the age of non-autoclaved concrete units during testing of masonry samples.
Determine the compressive strength of a sample of wall unit using the method given in EN 772-1. For non-autoclaved concrete units, determine the compressive strength during testing of coupling specimens.
Take representative samples of fresh mortar from the wall plate to make mortar prism samples to determine the flow value according to EN 1015-3 and the air content according to EN 1015-7. Use prism samples to determine the average compressive strength during testing of beam suspension samples according to EN 1015-11.
Fixing materials shall be normal production items in a clean, dry, uncontaminated condition provided by the manufacturer or supplier for use with the product.
