EUROLAB laboratory provides testing and compliance services within the scope of EN 12588 standard. This European standard specifies the designation, requirements for chemical composition, surface condition and dimensional tolerances for rolled lead sheet.
The lead sheet covered by this standard is made by the roll deformation process and is designed for roofs, sills, weathering, cladding, preformed panels, moisture resistant courses and similar construction work.
No requirements are included for the design and attachment methods of supporting construction, roofing or cladding systems.
The performance of a structural element made with these products depends not only on the characteristics of the product, but also on the design and manufacturing quality of the structural element, and on the design, construction and behavior, as required by this European standard.
The lead sheet provided will be determined and used according to the National Code of Practice based on service conditions such as exposure to direct sunlight and the area of the lead piece to be fixed.
