TS 10966 Liquid Curing Materials - Test Method for Curing Materials Applied to the Concrete Surface

EUROLAB, with its state-of-the-art accredited laboratories and expert team, offers precise and rapid testing services within the scope of TS 10966 test. This standard covers "curing materials applied to the concrete surface".

TS 10966 Liquid Curing Materials - Test Method for Curing Materials Applied to the Concrete Surface

This standard covers liquid membrane-forming compounds suitable for application to concrete surfaces to reduce water loss during the early setting period. White pigmented membrane-forming compounds serve the additional purpose of reducing the temperature rise in concrete exposed to solar radiation.

The membrane-forming compounds covered by this standard are suitable for use as curing media for fresh concrete and can also be used for further curing of concrete after removal of formwork or after initial wet curing.

Liquid membrane-forming compound types 1 and 1-D will be clear or translucent. Type 2 liquid membrane-forming compounds will consist of finely divided white pigment and mixed carrier ready for immediate use as is. Liquid membrane-forming compounds, when tested, will not limit water loss beyond the prescribed requirements. Type 2 liquid membrane-forming compounds shall exhibit a daylight reflectance of not less than 60% when tested. Liquid membrane-forming compounds, when tested, will dry to the touch in not more than 4 hours.
