ISO 10846-1 Acoustics and Vibration - Laboratory Measurement of Vibrating - Acoustic Transfer Properties of Flexible Elements - Part 1: Principles and Guidelines

The conditions for the validity of measurement methods are:

• Linearity of vibration behavior of resilient members (this includes elastic members with nonlinear static load-deflection properties, as long as the members show approximate linearity for vibration behavior for a given static preload, and
• The contact interfaces of the vibration isolator with adjacent source and receiver structures can be considered point contacts.
