This part of EN ISO 12625 contains specific instructions for the preparation of test pieces of single-ply and multi-ply products where special preparation-procedures may be required.
It can be used to determine the opacity of tissue products and tissue products containing fluorescent whitening agents if the UV content of the radiation incident on the test piece is adjusted to match that in CIE illuminant C using a fluorescent reference standard provided by the test piece.

The luminance factor depends on the measurement conditions and, in particular, on the spectral and geometric properties of the instrument used to determine it. This part of EN ISO 12625 should be read in conjunction with ISO 2469.
