It does not cover composite materials or full leather garments.
It is not intended to be used to provide any guidance on the process to be used to clean clothing.
During testing, the color of the leather may change and the adjacent fabric used may become stained. In addition, the finish of the leather may be damaged.
The presence of water absorbed in the skin, adjacent fabric, or solvent was not found to be a critical factor in evaluating color fastness.
