The EUROLAB laboratory offers testing and compliance services under the ISO 15540 standard. ISO 15540 specifies a test procedure for determining the fire resistance of non-metallic hose assemblies and non-metallic compensators up to a nominal diameter of 150 mm. It can be used for larger sizes provided the appropriate test bench conditions are met.
It serves to prove whether hose assemblies and non-metallic compensators continue to be tight even when subjected to proof pressure after the fire impact time on the test bench specified in ISO 15541.
Only water is allowed as the test medium. In order to ensure maximum safety for both operating personnel and test bench in case the hose or non-metallic compensator is damaged during the test, the use of flammable test environment is excluded.
