Take two pieces of sheet metal decking with a minimum length of 1 m and a minimum width of 300 mm and weld together according to the manufacturer's instructions. Welding should be done on the long side of the specimen. For tiles, weld the two tiles together according to the manufacturer's instructions.
A tensile tester and a force recorder will be used allowing a separation rate of (100 ± 5) mm/min. Condition test pieces at (24 ± 23) °C and (2 ± 50) % relative humidity for at least 5 hours. Maintain these conditions while performing the test.
