ISO 24473 Fire Tests, Open Calorimetry Measurement of Production Rate of Heat and Combustion Products for Fires Up to 40 MW

To avoid the effect of a push-up on the measured weight caused by the fire, low walls (curtains) should be installed to prevent the entry of air from all four sides under the weighing platform.

Each day of the test, the platform should be checked over the expected weight loss range using standard weights. The output will be as accurate as 1% or better of the expected mass loss range.
