The amount of gas passing through the sample from chamber 1 to chamber 2 is determined as a function of time by measuring the pressure increases occurring in chamber 2 by means of a manometer. The conduction velocity is calculated from the values ​​obtained, except for the first period in which the gas transit velocity increases with time.
