This testing method measures the unconstrained linear movement of screed materials, called dimensional stability (i.e. shrinkage and swelling), in a 1000 mm bending profile apparatus. A special feature of this testing method is that measurements start at the earliest possible time.
Regardless of the consistency of the screed material, monitoring the horizontal length change begins immediately after the mold is filled. The monitoring process ends when the length measurements reach steady state.
