ISO 6488 Tobacco and Tobacco Products — Determination of Water Content — Karl Fischer Method

The ISO 6488 standard, developed by the International Standards Organization (ISO), specifies a method for determining the water content with the Karl Fischer method. It applies to tobacco from finished products, as well as to raw tobacco. The method is suitable for water content ranging from a mass fraction of at least 2% to 55%.
