Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the ISO 6722 standard specifies dimensions, test methods and requirements for single core 60 V cables intended for use in road vehicle applications where the rated system voltage is equal to or less than 25 V dc or 60 V ac.
It also specifies additional test methods and/or requirements for 60 V cables intended for use in road vehicle applications where the rated system voltage is between (25 V dc or 600 V ac) and (600 V dc or 600 V) or less. It also applies to individual cores in multi-core cables.
