IEC EN 60335-2-97 Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Test for Roller Shutters

This standard deals with the safety of electric drives for helical equipment such as roller shutters, roller shutters and awnings used for household and similar purposes, with a rated voltage of not more than 250 V for single-phase and 480 V for other appliances.

This European Standard covers exterior mounted blinds and exterior blinds. If such products are installed internally, they must meet all relevant safety requirements defined in EN 13120.

The noise emission of electrically operated shutters and exterior blinds is not considered a relevant hazard health and safety requirements. Therefore, this European Standard does not contain any specific requirements regarding the noise health and safety target.
