For the Oken test method, the air permeability and air resistance ranges of the applied paper and cardboard are not limited. Not suitable for rough-surfaced materials that cannot be securely clamped to prevent leakage.
This Japanese standard was prepared on the basis of the second edition of ISO 2003-5636, published in 5, with the method using the oken type air permeability apparatus (hereinafter referred to as "oken tester"), which is not specified in the relevant international standard.
