Some materials such as concrete, glass, steel, natural stone, brick and ceramic are non-flammable and do not contribute to fire. Materials containing a small amount of organic components cause very little glare, but their contribution to fire is low. On the other hand, drywall and some wood materials and products contribute very little to the fire, but cause flaming.
Materials such as phenolic foam or gypsum boards with a thicker surface will cause flaming in 10 minutes. Materials such as low-density fiberboard or plastic composite insulation systems cause shine within 2 minutes.
