ISO 21969 applies to high pressure flexible connections intended to connect cylinders or bundles of cylinders to manifolds within the supply sources of medical gas pipeline systems conforming to ISO 7396-1.
ISO 21969 applies to high pressure flexible connections intended to connect a cylinder to an inlet port of a medical equipment (eg anesthetic workstation or lung ventilator) equipped with an integrated pressure regulator conforming to ISO 10524-1.
The ISO 21969 standard applies to high pressure flexible connections that aim to connect cylinders or cylinder bundles in the supply sources of medical gas pipeline systems conforming to the ISO 7396-1 standard to manifolds. It also applies to high pressure flexible connections designed to connect a cylinder to a medical equipment inlet port equipped with an integrated pressure regulator in accordance with the ISO 10524-1 standard, for example an anesthetic workstation or a lung ventilator.
However, this standard does not apply to high pressure flexible connections intended to be used to fill cylinders or low pressure flexible hose assemblies covered by the ISO 5359 standard.
