ISO 10079-1 Medical Aspiration Equipment, Part 1: Standard Test for Electrically Operated Suction Equipment

• End pieces such as aspiration catheters, drains, curettes, Yankauer suckers and aspiration tips;

• dental aspiration equipment;
• Anesthetic gas cleaning systems;
• laboratory aspiration;
• Autotransfusion systems;
• Mucus extractors, including neonatal mucus extractors;
• Suction equipment where the collection vessel is downstream of the vacuum pump;
• Ventouse (birth) equipment;
• Aspiration equipment marked for endoscopic use only;
• Smoke extraction systems.
