The EN 10524-1 standard describes the design, manufacture, type testing and marking requirements for pressure regulators designed for the application of medical gases and their mixtures in the treatment, diagnostic evaluation and care of patients. Gas samples include oxygen, medical air, and mixtures of oxygen and nitrous oxide.
