TS EN 61326-2-1 Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use - EMU Conditions - Part 2-1: Special Conditions - Performance Criteria, Experiment Configurations and Working Conditions for Precision Test Measurement Equipment for EMU Unprotected Applications

The IEC 61326-2-1 standard prepared by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), an affiliate of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), more detailed test configurations, operating conditions and performance for test and measurement devices that are not electromagnetic compatibility proof for operational and functional reasons offers criteria.

TS EN 61326-2-1 Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use - EMU Conditions - Part 2-1: Special Conditions - Performance Criteria, Experiment Configurations and Working Conditions for Precision Test Measurement Equipment for EMU Unprotected Applications

This standard has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute with the following title: TS EN 61326-2-1 Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use - EMC requirements - Part 2-1: Special conditions - Performance for sensitive test measuring equipment for EMC-unprotected applications criteria, test configurations and operating conditions.

According to this standard, manufacturers must specify the environment in which the product is intended to be used and select test level specifications in accordance with the IEC 61326-1 standard. The scope of this standard includes, but is not limited to, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, analog devices, digital multimeters, and board test systems.

IEC 61326-2-1 is a special standard and complements the IEC 61326-1 standard for sensitive test and measurement equipment that is vulnerable to EMC.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) means that electronic devices and systems can operate in electromagnetic environments without disturbing their functions and causing malfunctions. Electromagnetic compatibility ensures that the operation of the device does not affect the electromagnetic environment in a way that adversely affects the functions of other devices and systems.

In the early days of electronics, less electronic equipment was used. However, the number of electronic devices has increased substantially today. Some of these emit signals, while others are sensitive receivers. Therefore, the most important element of an electronic design is electromagnetic compatibility today.

Within the scope of measurement, control and laboratory equipment tests, our company also conducts tests in accordance with the IEC 61326-2-1 standard.
