This standard has been published in our country by the Turkish Standards Institute with the following title: TS EN 61326-2-3 Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use - EMU requirements - Part 2-3: Special requirements - Performance criteria for integrated or remote signal conditioning transducers, experiment configurations and operating conditions.

Transducers, an energyThey are devices that transform the shape of ji into another form of energy. The IEC 61326-2-3 standard covers transducers with the ability to convert a non-electrical quantity into a process-related electrical signal and output signals from one or more ports only with the aid of an auxiliary power source. It also includes transducers for electrochemically and biologically measured quantities. Generally, the transducers covered by this standard operate on alternating current or direct current voltage, battery or internal power supply.

IEC 61326-2-3 is a special standard and complements the IEC 61326-1 standard for sensitive test and measurement equipment that is vulnerable to EMC.

Sensors make life easier in many fields in daily life and industry. Examples are oxygen sensors that detect exhaust gases in vehicles, sound sensors that detect sound in microphones, pressure sensors that detect gas or liquid pressure in factories, temperature sensors that detect ambient temperature, and photoelectric sensors that detect the amount of light that changes with movement in automatic doors. Devices that convert these perceived energies into electrical energy for later use are called transducers.
