TS EN 61326-3-1 Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use - EMU Requirements - Part 3-1: Immunity Properties of Devices for Safety-Related Systems and Safety-Related Functions - General Industry Applications

The IEC 61326-3-1 standard prepared by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), an affiliate of the International Standards Organization (ISO), covers all equipment covered by IEC 61326-1. However, it is limited to systems and equipment for industrial applications aiming to fulfill the safety functions defined in SIL 1-3 and IEC 61508 standard.

TS EN 61326-3-1 Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use - EMU Requirements - Part 3-1: Immunity Properties of Devices for Safety-Related Systems and Safety-Related Functions - General Industry Applications

The functional safety of electrical, electronic and programmable electronic security related systems is defined in the IEC 61508 standard. This standard specifies general requirements to ensure adequate immunity and functional safety against electromagnetic disturbances.

The IEC 61326-3-1 standard has been published by the Turkish Standards Institute in our country with the following title: TS EN 61326-3-1 Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use - EMU requirements - Part 3-1: Realization of safety-related systems and safety-related functions immunity properties of devices for - general industry applications.

In the latest update of this standard, the frequency range for radio frequency electromagnetic field test was extended to 61000 GHz according to the IEC 4-3-6 standard, performance criterion FS was replaced by DS according to the IEC 61000-6-7 generic standard, performance criterion DS ' Table 1 is added, showing the considerations during the implementation of the IEC 61000-4-34 standard, including immunity tests for devices with current consumption greater than 16 A, and Table 8 showing the frequency ranges of mobile transmitters and ISM equipment has been updated.

IEC 61326-3-1 standard It complements the IEC 61326-1 standard for sensitive test and measuring equipment that is vulnerable to EMC.

Within the scope of measurement, control and laboratory equipment tests, our company also conducts tests in accordance with the IEC 61326-3-1 standard.
