310 (1.4845) stainless material is a stainless steel material produced to work at very high temperatures. This material can withstand continuous use even at 1100 degrees Celsius. The internal structure of a material that will operate at such high temperatures must be quite homogeneous.

The homogeneous distribution has a very important effect on the corrosion resistance of the material. A 310 quality stainless material that is poorly produced or not produced homogeneously may not show sufficient resistance to temperature.
