If drawing is required after galvanizing, this will be stated at the time of request and order or in the appropriate product standard. The same applies to other special surfaces such as wax coating, polished surface or an extremely smooth surface.
During testing in accordance with EN 10218-1 the coating will adhere to steel when subjected to wrap test conditions for adhesion. It should not crack or separate to the extent that strips of coating can be removed by rubbing with bare fingers. Loosening or separation during testing of small zinc particles resulting from mechanical polishing of the surface of the zinc or zinc alloy coating shall not be considered a reason for rejection.
